SR. PROJECT ENGINEER & PROJECT ENGINEER

Position Description

E-J’s staff engineers take all construction drawings and convert them into color AutoCAD with details to make our field staff the most productive in the industry.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the electrical engineering requirements for major projects. 
  • Complete engineering overview
  • Coordinate between the trades
  • Provide value engineering

 Qualifications

  • Highly motivated team player
  • 5-10 years comparable contracting experience/10+  years Senior Project Engineer
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of New York City Electrical Codes
  • Experience in redesign
  • Expert knowledge of AutoCAD  
Proficient in MS Office Suite and Outlook software

SENIOR ESTIMATOR & ESTIMATOR

Position Description

E-J Estimator’s work as a team performing comprehensive estimates on a computerized estimating system.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform a complete take off
  • Review all project documents
  • Work with clients and vendors to prepare comprehensive and accurate estimates
  • Attend scope review meetings
  • Participate in project turn over to field prices

 

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated team player
  • 5-10 years Senior Estimator  
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Practical knowledge of construction (new & renovation)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Outlook software, computerized estimating a plus

JUNIOR ESTIMATOR

Position Description

Full-time entry level position available for a Junior Estimator to service all the electrical requirements of multiple clients.  No electrical experience required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist Senior Estimators with various estimating tasks

Qualifications

  • Electrical Engineering Degree
  • Excellent communication skills
  • P.C. literate (Excel, Word & Auto CAD)

JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Position Description

Full-time entry level position available for a Junior Project Manager to assist in servicing the electrical requirements of multiple clients. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in all their functions including submittals, layout, expediting equipment, performance testing, bidding and shop drawings

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum three years communication industry experience
  • Knowledge of communication wiring systems
  • Practical knowledge of construction (new & renovation)
  • Estimating
  • P.C. literate (Excel, Word & Auto CAD)
